2013 Cowboy Days Schedule

Ongoing activities both days: Plant sale at the Museum’s Greenhouse, arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, children’s activities, pony rides for kids, horseback and stagecoach rides, team roping, the Back Country Horsemen, the New Mexico State University Horsemen’s Association, and demonstrations, including working dogs (Sunday only), blacksmithing, cowboy cooking, horseshoeing, weaving, sewing and dowsing.

Saturday, March 2
10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

10-11 a.m.: Steve Cormier performs in the Courtyard.
10:30-11:30 a.m.: Gunfight re-enactment in front of the Bruce King Building.
10:30-11:30 a.m.: Western writer Jim Jones in the Theater.
11 a.m.-12 p.m.: Chris Baker performs in the Pavilion.
11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: Parade of Breeds in the Round Pen.
11:30 a.m.-12 p.m.: Medicine Show in the Amphitheater.
11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: Western writer Linda Jacobs in the Theater.
12-1 p.m.: Hot Lead performs in the Amphitheater.
12-1 p.m.: Randy Granger performs at the Pavilion.
12:30-1:30 p.m.: Neil Fuller’s ranch talk in the Theater.
1-2 p.m.: Steve Cormier performs in the Courtyard.
1:30-3:30 p.m.: Living history at the Horse & Cattle Barn.
1:30-2:30 p.m.: Kenny Arroyos performs at the Pavilion.
1:30-2 p.m.: 19th Century Fashion Show in the Theater.
2-3 p.m.: Parade of Breeds in the Round Pen.
2:30-3:30 p.m.: Washtub Jerry performs in the Courtyard.
2:30-3:30 p.m.: Bob Neeley’s cowboy poetry in the Amphitheater.
3-4 p.m.: Gunfight re-enactment in front of the Bruce King Building.
3-4 p.m.: Jim Jones performs in the Pavilion.
3-4 p.m.: Western writer Melody Groves in the Theater.
3:30-4:30 p.m.: Charros perform Mexican-style rodeo demonstrations in the Round Pen.
4-5 p.m.: Skunk Valley performs in the Courtyard.
4-5 p.m.: Western writer Johnny D. Boggs in the Theater.
