Museum closed on New Years Day

The New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum will be closed on New Years Day. The Museum and the Heart of the Desert Gift Shop will reopen and resume the regular schedule at 9 a.m. on Jan. 2.

Community Appreciation Day

The Museum offers free admission on this day each year to thank the community for its support. Demonstrations are a big part of the day, as well as the Parade of Breeds cattle program, pony rides, children’s games, living history, food vendors, a plant sale, and more.
