Watch a blacksmith create tools using a forge and an anvil at the Blacksmith Shop.

Saddle Makers of the Southwest

Learn about working with leather in the Saddle Exhibit.
Find out how to grind corn and wheat in a gristmill.
Learn how to cook using wood with a cast iron stove or horno in the Heritage Kitchen.

The Museum & Gift Shop are closed on Sunday.

$2         Active U.S. military & veterans

MISSION STATEMENT

The New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum connects the present generation to the history of farming and ranching in New Mexico, inspiring a deeper appreciation and understanding of the state’s rich heritage.
The museum accomplishes this by providing exhibitions and programs that enable its users to understand and learn from the past in ways that enrich their present lives and help them shape a better future.
