Volunteer Program

Volunteer today!

We welcome you to the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum. All of our volunteers are Museum ambassadors, regardless of the tasks they perform. We bring the past to life and use cutting edge technologies in order to engage guests – whether they are preschoolers or the young-at-heart. We are very appreciative of your time, experience, and efforts; and look forward to creating exceptional educational opportunities for our guests.

Volunteer of the year

Volunteer of the
Year 2021

Ruth A. Sommers

Ruth has accumulated the greatest number of hours volunteering for the museum, and never missed a chance to help out.  Ruth participated in major events, helped in the Education Department, and was busy sorting through decades of photographs when COVID hit. We appreciate her willingness to work one or more days a week as a volunteer, and for her generosity of spirit.
