Museums offer free admission for military personnel on Veterans Day

(Santa Fe, NM) – All museums under the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) will offer free admission to active duty military, veterans, and National Guard personnel in celebration of Veteran’s Day, November 10, 2017.

“Offering a free admission day in honor of their service is a small token of the gratitude we share for the service and sacrifice of our military men and women,” said DCA cabinet Secretary Veronica Gonzales.

Participating DCA museums include: New Mexico History Museum/Palace of the Governors, New Mexico Museum of Art, Museum of International Folk Art, Museum of Indian Arts and Culture, in Santa Fe; New Mexico Museum of Space History, Alamogordo; New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science, Albuquerque; New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum, Las Cruces; and the Art Museum at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, Albuquerque.
